Shiv Khera is the founder of Qualified Learning Systems Inc. An educator, business consultant, a much sought after speaker and a successful entrepreneur, Shiv has many feathers in his cap. He works to inspire and inform people, helping them realize their true potential. He has taken his dynamic personal message around the world. Shiv has been recognized as a "Louis Marchesi Fellow" by the Round Table Foundation. His numerous interviews have appeared in newspapers, magazines and various radio and television shows internationally.

Shiv left India after losing his
family business of coal-mining to Nationalization. In the USA, it
all began very humbly for him, washing cars to selling life
insurance. He had his share of failure and struggle before he
attended a lecture by Norman Vincent Peale whose motivational
teachings changed his life forever. "After that lecture I
realized that I was my own biggest problem, and then the direction
of my life changed," declares Shiv Khera. His client list
includes the who’s who of the corporate world.

He has authored three bestsellers.
His first book “You Can Win”, which came out in 1998, has sold
over a million copies worldwide. His much-awaited second book
“Living With Honor” hit the stands in August 2003, becoming an
instant bestseller. Then within a span of six months in February
2004, his third book “Freedom Is Not Free” was released, also to
become a bestseller.

You Can Win: An international
bestseller, it is a practical and a motivational tool crafted
thoughtfully to ignite the human spirit. Whatever Shiv preaches he
practices in his life. In his own words “sympathy is, I understand

Freedom Is Not Free: While his
previous books have concentrated on individuals this one has
concentrated on society. He firmly believes that a progressive
society is the basis for individual progress of its people. He is of
the opinion that we should stop thinking on narrower lines of caste,
region or community but move together ahead as Indians, otherwise we
can never prosper as a nation. This book is a result of the
author’s refusal to tolerate injustice, corruption and oppression
any further. He calls upon the common man to stand up and fight for
principles so that Indians can live with dignity and prosperity.
